Event Information

Sheepvention Rural Expo has been a cornerstone of the Australian Sheep industry for over four decades.

Since its inception in 1979, this two day event has grown into one of the most prestigious rural events in Australia, providing an unrivalled platform for agribusiness, machinery, equipment, livestock, and professional services.

The 2024 event will be held on Sunday 4 and Monday 5 August 2024 at the Showgrounds in the heart of Hamilton, regional Victoria – The epicenter of the pastoral and agricultural industry for over 160 years.

For generations, the event has been a source of great traditions and childhood memories, bringing together the top stakeholders within the industry to showcase a vast array of products and services. From the Hamilton and Western District Sheep Show, yard dog championships, ram sales to agri-trade, home and garden, schooling, and more, Sheepvention Rural Expo provides a stage for our rural communities to come together to network and connect.

In addition to showcasing new technology, Sheepvention Rural Expo features an inventions competition that highlights some of the most creative and inventive ideas from entrepreneurs and inventors. Every inventor has to start somewhere, and at Sheepvention, you can take advantage of the opportunity to connect with various educational providers, including secondary, university and tertiary institutions.

Whether you are a student looking to explore different study options, a parent seeking guidance on education pathways for your child, or an aspiring inventor seeking knowledge to bring your ideas to life, you can benefit from connecting with these educational providers.

Further information regarding event specifics can be found on our website at www.sheepvention.com

MOBILE TICKET

Mobile Delivery ticketing functions similarly to Print-at-Home tickets, with the key difference being that instead of printing the tickets yourself, you can display the ticket barcode directly on your mobile phone. If you possess a mobile ticket, ensure that you have it readily available on your phone, with the QR barcode clearly visible for scanning at the auditorium doors. To access your mobile ticket, log into your My Tickets account from your phone.

Ensure that your phone is fully charged and set the screen brightness to the maximum level for effective scanning of your ticket. If you encounter difficulties with these steps, rest assured that we can attempt to scan the ticket directly from your phone, and if that proves unsuccessful, alternative solutions will be explored.
